My decision to pursue postgraduate study in New Zealand has been made after careful consideration of my academic background in English, nearly ten years of professional experience at Doer Services PLC, and long-term career aspirations in Bangladesh. This programme represents a logical progression in my educational and professional development and will enable me to acquire advanced analytical, technological, and managerial competencies required in today's data-driven business environment.
During my undergraduate studies in English, I developed strong analytical thinking, research capability, written communication, presentation skills, and critical reasoning. This academic foundation motivated me to broaden my expertise by pursuing postgraduate education that combines business management with information technology and data-driven decision-making.
In my professional journey, I joined Doer Services PLC in May 2016 as a Probationary Officer and continuously progressed to Senior Executive in Operations and Business Development in 2020. In this team lead role, I have been responsible for supervising operational activities, monitoring team productivity, conducting business analysis to improve efficiency, and supporting strategic planning. This experience helped me realize the increasing importance of business intelligence, digital transformation, information systems, and project management in today's FinTech industry.
The Master of Business Informatics at ICL Graduate Business School best aligns with my objectives. The curriculum covers key areas such as Business Analysis, Information Systems, Project Management, Technological Innovation, Leadership and Change, Information Security, and Business Transformation. These subjects directly complement my professional responsibilities and will enable me to bridge the gap between operational experience and strategic management.
Upon completing my master’s degree, I am fully committed to returning to Bangladesh. My long-term goal is to apply advanced analysis knowledge and strategic insights to contribute to Bangladesh's digital economy, and eventually establish my own business consultancy specializing in business analytics and digital transformation.
